Where I work a coworker came to work wearing a nice teeshirt with the American flag and the words that said PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN. It was a nice shirt no holes just a nice tee shirt to wear to work. WRONG!!!!! a H.R. rep. walked up to her on the floor and told her in no uncertain terms if she wore the shirt again to work she would be asked to leave the premises. She was like WTH? It might offend another worker. Her mouth fell open on that remark then we could see her getting mad real mad. Standing there she thought for a moment then she politely said if anyone in this country is offended by what the saying on this shirt and for what it stands for they have no business being in this COUNTRY. He again repeated NOT to wear that shirt again. With that she walked away STUNNED...
Are we up in arms about this? Hell yes we are.
Damn it this is America and yes we are damn proud to be able to say we live here and are proud of our flag and everything it stands for. We are at war and how many of our citizens have fought wars for our freedom? and a business that is an American based corporation is saying we can't wear a shirt with the American flag and that saying on it is just WRONG. We at work are highly offended by this.. So come Tues. a group of us will be wearing a teeshirt with the American flag stamped on it and similar words printed on the shirt. What will they do guess we will find out on Tues.

Should we just accept this and go on with our work and not say or do anything about it?
Let them yet again walk all over us? This Co. ships all over the world and is based all over the world. They should be proud of the flag and the workers that are proud of being Americans and the American flag!!!!!!
